Took the 7D up to Windrock to shoot some downhill. To make things more interesting I built a little 4 foot pvc skateboard dolly. These are some test shots with a Canon EF 17-40mm f/4, an Olympus OM Zuiko 50mm f/1.4, and an Olympus OM Zuiko 135mm f2/8. I shot a mix of 24 and 60fps.
This was the first time I’ve been up to Windrock. The place is pretty sick. I was told I only saw a small fraction of the downhill trails. Hopefully next time I make it up there, Doug will get me on a bike so I can get the full effect. He puts a lot of work in maintaining the trails. For those of you who ride, you definitely need to check it out.
Featured riders in the video are Doug Ferguson, Buddy Dalton, and Loo-Natic.

Welcome to ridemade.com, the place to check out all the latest video work on and off the job from Mark Billingsby. You can also keep up with my daily training log as I try to stay fit.
I grew up watching Warren Miller films fantasizing about what it would be like to have a camera in my hands shooting athletes in amazing locations.
Today that dream has become a reality. My name is Mark Billingsby. My day job is producing content for one of the largest collegiate athletic programs in the nation. I spend my free time doing CrossFit, riding bikes, and filming action sports. Welcome to Ridemade Media, a website created to share my experiences on and off the job.
